Dissection

Stromstad, Sweden death metal band formed in 1990. Formed by Jon and Peter of Siren's Yell after that band disbanded in 1989. They were on hiatus from 1997 to 2003 after perpetrating a hoax that Jon had been arrested for murder. They performed their final show in 2006, Jon committed suicide in August 2006.
